Closing, reopening or deleting a location

Published and maintained by Adtro Media

Settings > Locations shows each location with its status. A location's menu (three dots) has three different ways to stop it — pick by what you want to happen to the bill:

  • Close and stop billing: it stops taking orders and bookings straight away. Its orders, stock history and storefront settings are kept, and you can reopen it later. Its charge stops now and the unused time is credited to your next invoice — unless it is within your plan's included allowance, in which case your bill does not change. The card then reads "Closed · not billed".
  • Reopen (on a closed location): it starts taking orders again. Reopening is charged like adding a new location, so a location outside your allowance shows the price first and asks you to Pay and reopen.
  • Taking a storefront offline (Storefronts > Unpublish) hides the ordering link but keeps the location billed.
  • Delete removes the location for good and also stops its charge.

For a few days off — a holiday, renovation or private event — do not close the location: set closures in its opening hours instead (Public holidays & closures), and the storefront blocks ordering on those dates by itself.
