Promo codes

Published and maintained by Adtro Media

A promo code is one code anyone can type at your online checkout or the till — for a flyer, a post or a partner. Unlike a voucher, it isn't tied to one customer; you decide how many times it can be used.

  1. Open Products (Menu for a restaurant) and choose Promo codes, then Add a promo code.
  2. Type the code — 3 to 24 letters or numbers, e.g. OCT10 — and what it's for (optional, e.g. "October flyer").
  3. Choose what it takes off: a percentage or a dollar amount. Optionally set a minimum spend, a cap ("up to $X off"), a total number of uses, a limit per customer, the first and last day, and whether it works online, at the counter, or both. Leave a limit blank for none.
  4. Save. The list shows each code's status (running, starts later, ended), how many times it has been used and the discount given so far.

Removing a code stops it at once; orders that already used it keep their discount. For a gift a specific customer owns, use a voucher in Rewards instead; for a timed lower price on one item, use a happy-hour price on the product.
