Designing a storefront (the Design screen)
Published and maintained by Adtro Media
Storefronts > open one > Design is where a storefront's look and layout are built. Two columns: the controls on the left, and your real storefront on the right — not a mock-up of it, the actual page, updating as you edit.
The left rail holds the style controls and the section list. The sections are the parts of the storefront from top to bottom; drag to reorder, switch one off, or open one to change its settings. Clicking a section on the phone selects it in the rail too.
The sections you can add:
- Photo at the top — the big picture and title customers see first.
- Category buttons — a row of shortcuts to what you sell.
- Items I pick — only the items you choose, in the order you set.
- A whole category — fills itself with everything in one category, so new products appear without you touching the design.
- Button — takes customers to their order.
- WhatsApp link card — not a design choice: it reports whether this storefront has a number linked, and is managed in Settings > WhatsApp.
Work is saved as a draft and published separately, so the live storefront does not change under a customer mid-edit. Publish from the storefront's own screens when you are happy with it.
Faster: iBot inside your dashboard can walk you through this — or do it for you. Open Assistants and just ask.
